Irresistible 4 Ingredient Chicken Poppers

A New Favorite for Snack Time!

I decided to try my hand at a 4 Ingredient Chicken Popper that was not only simple, but kid-friendly. Let me tell you, they turned out even better than I anticipated! These delicious bites have quickly become a new favorite in our snack and lunch rotation. The best part? They only take 20 minutes from start to finish

Simple and Clean Ingredients

Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 lb ground chicken: The base of our poppers, providing a lean source of protein.

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese: Adds a rich, savory flavor.

  • 1 large carrot, grated: A great way to include some veggies.

  • 1 single-serve bag of Jackson’s Chips: I used Jackson’s Sweet Potato Chips, which have simple, clean ingredients—just sweet potatoes, avocado oil, and sea salt.

Quick and Easy Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Pour all the ingredients into a bowl. Using your hands, mix until everything is well combined. This is a fun part where you can really get involved (or get your kids involved) in the process.

  2. Form the Poppers: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. This recipe makes about 15-18 poppers, perfect for sharing or meal prepping.

  3. Cook in the Air Fryer: Place the chicken poppers in the air fryer and cook at 350°F for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. The air fryer gives them a wonderful crispiness without needing extra oil.

  4. Enjoy!: Once cooked, they're ready to be devoured. These poppers make the perfect snack, and they're even great for a quick lunch or even ON THE GO road trips!

The Experience

Making these chicken poppers was a breeze, and the cleanup was minimal—another win in my book! The combination of ground chicken, Parmesan, carrot, and crunchy sweet potato chips results in a delightful texture and flavor. They're savory, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying.

Not to mention, it makes for a perfectly balanced meal when served by itself. It has a protein (the chicken and cheese), a fat (the chicken and cheese), a carb source (the Jackson’s chips), and a veggie/fiber source (the carrots and even the sweet potato chips)!

Whether you're looking for a quick snack, a fun appetizer for guests, a new addition to your meal prep routine, or a quick and easy snack your kids will love, these 4 Ingredient Chicken Poppers are sure to impress.
