Join me as I take you through these THREE fun and SIMPLE recipes that the whole family will love.

First up: Red, White, and Blue Yogurt Pops

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla Greek yogurt (full fat is recommended for littler kiddos)

  • ½ cup blueberries

  • ½ cup raspberries

Equipment

  • Popsicle sticks

  • Parchment paper

  • Cookie sheet

Instructions

  1. Mix It Up: Combine the yogurt, blueberries, and raspberries in a bowl. Stir until well mixed.

  2. Prep Your Sheet: Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Scoop & Shape: Scoop the mixture into evenly divided portions on the parchment paper.

  4. Stick It: Press a popsicle stick into each portion.

  5. Freeze: Place the cookie sheet in the freezer and let the popsicles freeze for 2-3 hours, or until solid.

These popsicles are not just a treat for the taste buds, but also a fun and colorful activity to do with the kids. You can even mix things up by swapping out the fruit for different berries or adding a splash of fruit juice for an extra twist.

Make it a neighborhood "Popsicle Party" and have the neighborhood kids over to create their popsicle masterpieces. While it sounds messy and chaotic (because let’s be real, it is), it can be a great way to occupy the kids in the summer, teach them kitchen tasks, talk about nutrition, and give them a snack all in one!

It will get the kids experimenting with different fruits and flavors, and the popsicles just might be the highlight of the day. Because if your kids are anything like mine, they love popsicles!

Plus, these recipes are a great way to get the kids to eat more fruit and keep them hydrated! Share this post with friends and neighbors so everyone can join in on the fun!
